Yes! We made it for one week without being late! We live far from the school where I am teaching and where my daughter is attending school. The travel usually lasts for about 1.5 hours including the walking and the commuting. From the house to our terminal, that is about 500 meters to 800 meters depending if the shortcut is available for us. Then from the terminal, we travel for around 30 minutes down to the public market where the terminal to the barangay where the school is situated. That alone almost reaches around 45 minutes due to the consistent stopping of the multicab. So going to school alone takes time. BUT I am very happy because, for the past 5 days, my daughter and I were never late. We always arrive early with a few minutes to spare before the first bell rings.
And we are hoping that we will be able to do this continually until the school year ends. Yeah… somehow my daughter wanted to do it because going back to school excites her because she has new friends. And for me, I am currently enjoying the journey. I believe that this move is in alignment with what God has planned for my life. So I am excited and I am trusting God for the process!
Yay!!! ❤❤❤
