Will Be Attending the Biggest Homeschool Conference in the Philippines!

Just as I mentioned on my Facebook Fan Page, I have started my homeschooling journey with my two younger kids this year. My daughter is in Grade 1 and my son is Grade 7. So far, both have enjoyed homeschooling so much even though we are still doing it independently (we have no homeschool provider yet). I blogged about our homeschooling journey at www.teachermomma.com.

Last year when I started considering homeschooling my kids, I have a lot of questions on my mind. I did some research and downloaded every e-book there is until I discovered that there is a homeschooling conference happening in Manila. As much as I wanted to go there, getting a plane ticket on such a short notice proved to be very expensive. So I promised myself, I am going to attend the biggest homeschool conference in the Philippines this year.

When they announced the date earlier this year, I immediately looked for a plane ticket promotion. I was blessed to have found one and booked it immediately without second thoughts!

So yes! I am finally attending the biggest homeschool conference in the Philippines this October 22, 2016, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier, Taguig City! Booking the ticket was already exciting for me and it became even more exciting when they announced the program and the keynote speakers they’ll be having!

Philippine Homeschool Conference 2016

The theme for this year’s conference is “From Roots to Wings: Homeschooling through the Stages.” This conference is not only for those who are currently homeschooling their children but also for those who are considering to homeschool their kids.

The local and international keynote speakers are experienced homeschoolers (product of homeschool or is homeschooling their children) and homeschooling advocates. Each of them will be discussing relevant topics on how to provide your children the appropriate “roots” so that they have “wings” to fly high to greater heights.
