I know that owning a family car would entail some maintenance expenses. Foremost would be gas, and fuel nowadays has really become very expensive. I can only imagine those in the United States who own RVs! Buying an RV in itself is already very expensive then add to that gas and other maintenance needs, as well as its 5th wheel insurance!
For an expensive of property such as an RV, the owner should really make it a point to renew their vehicle insurance yearly because of the coverage and peace of mind that you get. RVs are parked everywhere and since it is mostly parked in the outdoors, there are no guards for them. So the insurance will pretty much cover unforeseen problems as well as road accidents. But I can only imagine how much is the insurance for a brand new RV! I am glad I don’t have that problem now.
