Taking Care of Our Eyes

Posted on February 5, 2013December 6, 2013 by MOMMY RUBY

Our eyes play an important role in our life. We read and watch TV with our eyes, we silently communicate with our loved ones by just simply looking at each other, we appreciate the beauty of our surroundings when we look at it, and it is one of the greatest asset a man could ever have. And like what they also say, eyes are the window to our soul. We should be grateful that God has given us the best gift a human could ever get, so we could use it to see and embrace His creation.

But of course, each one of us has to take care of our eyes, right?! So, start eating vegetables that are rich in Vitamin A and beta carotene, these are helpful in maintaining healthy eyes. Don’t watch TV too close and try not to spend too much time looking at your computer screen. Don’t directly look at a bright light or the sun; your eyes can be damaged. Don’t read with a dim light as well, it will cause eye strain and eventually you might end up wearing prescription eyeglasses. If your eyes are tired, take a rest. And most of all, it is important to have your eyes checked regularly by an optometrist.

So, how do you take care of your eyes?

oh boy! i don’t know what would happen to my life without my vision (palayu panulay). I started having vision problem when I worked for a computer company as a data encoder. im infront of the computer 8 hours a day, 6 days a week and my eyes gets fuzzier each time until now, I can’t live without my Rx glasses because I won’t be able to see a clear object without it.

I have just gotten my new prescription glasses and I must say it is a huge help on my vision. Indeed, our eyes are one of the most important part of our body. I can’t imagine my world without my vision.
