How to ADD a Philippine Bank Account to PayPal?

Let me share to you my experiences in adding a Philippine bank account at PayPal.

Interested? OK, lets start then…

1. Go to https://www.paypal.com and login to your account.

2. At your account dashboard click “Edit Profile” near your name.

3. Once you are in your Profile Summary, click on “Bank Accounts.”

4. After clicking “Bank Accounts” you will be lead to a page which will lists all the bank accounts that you have added to PayPal. Since you haven’t added one yet, your screen will not show any. In my case, I already have added three banks.5. Click on the “Add” button at the lower portion of the page.

6. After that, key in all the necessary details asked by PayPal like your bank’s name, it’s bank code and your bank account number. If you have no idea what are the accepted Philippine banks at PayPal and their corresponding bank codes, you can view it here: Philippine Bank Codes for PayPal Use. After typing in the details, click “Continue.”
7. You will be given a summary of all you have typed, review the details. Once everything is correct, click “Add Bank Account.” Be careful about the bank details because once you have encoded the wrong ones and transacted a bank transfer, you will be charge with a penalty.
8. After this, you will be able to view a page that will tell you that you have successfully added a bank account and you will also receive a corresponding email from PayPal informing you of the added bank account. So that’s it! We are finished. Hope this article have helped you. Thanks!!

Hi. I came across your blog when I was searching about paypal. Being a newbie, I want to ask if after I have added my bank account on paypal, can I already withdraw there if I already have some money on my paypal account? I have premier account on paypal, but not yey verified. so I would like to know if what do I have to do to be able to withdraw money from paypal., is adding my bank account on paypal enough? thanks.

hi again. 😉 thanks for the response. Just want to ask, if i will add a bank account on my payplay account, will that also means that my paypal account will be verified afterwards? or i still need to open an Eon debit card in unionbanks?sorry for asking so many questions 😉 just confused if adding a bank account is enough or still need to open an eon debit card just to withdraw money from paypal. thanks again. 😉

hello po, my question is my kelangan akong bilhin sa ebay/amazon but my money sa paypal is not enough how can i transfer funds from my eon card to my paypal account po?verified na po ako. sana may sumagot.i badly need it po kasi..thanks in advance.

  10. Mommy Ruby says:

    @ maia,

that can be arranged if you use your EON as credit card. automatic po syang nag dededuct doon. but if you want, you can look for people that would fund your paypal in exchange for eon funds.

example, send mo sa akin EON and I send you the paypal funds.

    hope that helps.
